New England still only has 52 players on the active roster, and there were no new players on the field Friday. But head coach Bill Belichick said that he expected to make a transaction before the week was through. So, it would appear that someone from the practice squad will be activated for Sunday’s game. Given the shortage of outside linebackers, Shawn Crable could be a strong candidate.
