The Original 28-3 Comeback Tee

Even if we do have a dominating performance on defense, does it mean much? It’s against a rookie QB and a team that isn’t expecting much out of their season (even though it is true Rex gives Brady problems). I mean look at how good the defense “looked” against he Titans last year and then got a wake up call when we faced real QBs. Also how many snaps do you think Boyce will get? I would like to see him use his speed on the seam or the boundary.

Well I guess I’d counter that with how many dominating performances have we seen out of this defense the last three seasons, even against rookie and back-up QBs? Last week’s game was the first time since 2009 that they didn’t give up a 20+ touchdown. So yeah, expectations are a little low around here, but […]
