Great read on the oft-maligned Arrington. He could really shine with the best outside corners next to him that he’s ever had. He just might be the best slot corner in the NFL this season.

Mike — Quick, on a scale of 1-10, how excited are you that the Pats are going to: a) trade Amendola, b) re-sign Edelman, c) Trade for Revis and, d) sign Decker, Sanders, Orakpo, Allen, Tate, Mack, Bryant, and (hopefully) Moss in free agency? Every. Friggin’. Off-season. :)

a) 8, but that they’ll release him. b) 10, I’m bumping the Edelman return chances from 40% to 60%. c) 3, never going to happen but fun to imagine. d) 10, Moss AND Welker are coming back.
