I don’t mean to scare Dolphins, Jets and Bills fans, but the word on the street is that if San Diego doesn’t get WR Vincent Jackson locked up he’s likely headed to a certain New England team. That’s right….nail biting time.

It has long been reported that Vincent Jackson is the number one wide receiver on the Patriots internal wish list, so everytime these rumors pop up I’m not so fast to dismiss them. Not sure how the economics of it would work, especially with Welker to sign, but it’s something to keep an eye on.

Maybe I can find articles linking the Pats to every single major free agent out there in the next two weeks. Nothing scares opposing teams more than rumors the Pats are looking to make a big splash.

I always felt that safety was a temporary gig for dmac and i find myself hoping that he can come back down to corner and let harmon or richards take over for him. having an updated version of the corner dmac was in 2010 should give the new front 7 a bit more time to wreck havoc no?
