Happy for the win, especially given that that there were no major injuries. One thing that stuck out to me was Vellano being heavily used to spell Kelly and Wilfork. Also, a lot of play action passes for Patriots, without a ton of success. I was surprised that Sudfeld was sparingly used, and some of the missed connections (especially the corner of the endzone throw to Edelman) made me wonder about what Dobson can do on those types of routes when healthy. Thanks, good thoughts. Curious to see the snap totals on a lot of guys, especially Vellano. Like usual thought he had some good, some bad. It’s hard not to think this is exactly what we should’ve expected. That was exactly how week one divisional games almost always seem to go, especially when they’re on the road in a tough place like Buffalo.

Yet again the Bills just couldn’t put the Pats away and Brady came back to ruin their day. 

There’s no question this offense will be a work in progress, but if you look long term – when Gronk is back, Amendola is healthy, and the rooks have experience – I think we’ll be just fine.
