Going for the Jugular, Tom Brady-style

December 13, 2010 by Mike Dussault

They said after the game that BB wanted to kneel on the ball and let the clock expire for halftime. But Brady was like ‘sorry coach, Deion go long’ and boom, effectively ended the game ’07 style. Opponents are going to have to hope the Pats offense has a horrid day if they hope to beat them in the playoffs. Not saying it won’t happen, but things are going to have to go very right for a team to walk into Foxboro in January and come out with a win.

Couple of questions: when does actual training camp start? Also do you think they’ll try to push Dobson into the starting job on the outside as soon as possible? And do you think Boyce will be thrown into a pretty prominent role early often? I don’t think they’ll role the dice on Jenkins considering he’s never been a vet productive receiver. And Jones may have potential but I don’t see the pats rolling the dice on him either

Practices open on Friday, July 26th, though the players will be reporting before that for testing. They won’t push Dobson, he’ll have to earn whatever he gets. He’ll make the team, but nothing will be handed to him. He needs to get and stay healthy first and foremost. I don’t know if they’ll throw Boyce […]
