Did you know that Dane Fletcher spits hot fire?

I love Fletcher’s size and speed. I was impressed by his reaction time in preseason, he seemed to read pass quickly and drop inton coverage without a “false step”. It was pretty clear to me that he was a little more instinctive in that way than Tyrone McKenzie. My only question now is where are we going to see him get after the QB, because clearly he has pass rush skills.

Patriots Schwag Hunt: Gothic, Ripped Pats T-Shirt

This t-shirt is brand spanking new from the Patriots Proshop and I"m not really sure what to make of it. Who designs this stuff? Honestly I think they should give me a design team and I’d come up with stuff that would fly off the shelves.

Instead of weird, cartoony gothic stuff like this why not go cocky, ironic, funny, proud? It’s like whoever wears this t-shirt is trying to scare people.

I remember one t-shirt the proshop had a while back that just had three Lombardi Trophies with the Patriots logo and “It is what it is” below it. That’s what I’m talking about! More of that please!

New England Patriots Game Plan: San Diego Chargers

New England Patriots Game Plan: San Diego Chargers

The humane thing to do when an animal is suffering is to put it out of it’s misery. To finish it off Old Yeller-style with a shotgun out behind the shed. The San Diego Chargersare wounded animals right now, and it’s up to the Patriotsto send them back to the middle of the NFL pack. However, wounded animals are often most dangerous.

Statistically the Chargers look formidable, and they’re a tough team at home (unless it’s the playoffs). New England will certainly have their work cut out for them.

The Pats gameplan for the Chargers after the jump…

NFLN: Scouts Take on Hernandez, Branch, Woodhead

NFLN: Scouts Take on Hernandez, Branch, Woodhead

Some really interesting stuff, it’s really incredible to think Hernandez was a 4th round pick. He’s bringing so much versatility to this offense that it sorely lacked in 2009.

ProFootballWeekly: Deaderick Gets Some Love

ProFootballWeekly: Deaderick Gets Some Love

When the Patriots took Brandon Deaderick in the 7th round, a tough, prototypical 3-4 DE with experience playing in a similar system to theirs, I quietly had some high hopes that maybe just maybe he could step in and play. With Ty Warren gone Deaderick is really the only DE on the roster who is built for the 3-4, thought Gerard Warren has shown a lot this year. Just another low round pick making an impact…

JuJu!! Notice how most of these highlights are from last year and preseason? Still kinda waiting for Edelman to bust out this year. This weekend? Maybe? Hopefully?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Qk0bIHZsSo 2009 Week 4 New England Patriots 27 v Baltimore Ravens 21 (by NewEnglandPats25) A lot of people forget that the Pats had beaten the Ravens in 2009 before the playoff massacre. I think this weekend’s AFC Championship game will be far more reminiscent of this game or last year’s overtime regular season battle than […]
