Is this the last time the Bills beat the Patriots? No this is 1968, and they’re playing at Fenway.

None of the Patriots 15 straight wins over the Bills were closer than the 2009 opener. I still don’t know how the Bills lost this one. Oh right, Leodis McKelvin taking out a kick return that he should’ve knelt on.

According to various reports it looks like Hernando could be out anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks with a sprained MCL. That puts his return somewhere between next week at Oakland and October 30th in Pittsburgh.
While MCL sprains aren’t a huge deal they can linger. Jerod Mayo was only out three weeks in 2009 but he never looked like he fully recovered all his speed until the following season. Let’s hope Hernando’s is even less of a big deal than Mayo’s was, but even he’s just out this weekend it’s a bummer because it’s a definite blow to the Blitzkrieg offense.
Time for Chad, Price and Edelman to step up.
