10 Weeks until real football. This is how I rank the “buzz” on the Pats games right now – 1. Broncos (11/2); 2. @ Packers (11/30); 3. @ Colts (11/16); 4. Jets (10/16); 5. Bengals (10/5); 6. @ Chiefs (9/29) 7. @ Chargers (12/7); 8. @ Dolphins (9/7); 9. Bears (10/26); 10. Lions (11/23); 11. @ Jets (12/21); 12. Dolphins (12/14); 13. @ Bills (10/12); 14. Bills (12/28); 15. @ Vikings (9/14); 16. Raiders (9/21)

Close to what I’d have:

  1. Broncos – obvs.
  2. Jets – love seeing Rex’s gameplan vs. Brady. Solid Jets defense will be challenging. Great rivalry.
  3. @ Colts – Andrew Luck has struggled twice in New England, now he gets a chance vs. Patriots in Indy.
  4. Bengals – They needed a monsoon in the fourth quarter to beat last year’s sputtering Pats early in season.
  5. Packers – the time of year you want to start playing your most solid football.
  6. @ Chargers – just because I’l be there. Should be a good game.
  7. @ Chiefs – Good test for our offensive line.
  8. @ Jets – might be meaningless by Christmas, but if it matters it would be a tough one.
  9. @ Dolphins – gonna be a hot opener. Physical test.
  10. Bears – Revis v. Marshall.
  11. Lions – Revis v. Calvin.
  12. @ Bills – Back-and-forth, down-to-the-end once again.
  13. Dolphins – Ending the Ryan Tannehil era.
  14. Vikings – Matt Caseel?
  15. Raiders – Hello Matt Schaub, good to see you.
  16. Bills – hopefully meaningless.

Updated Patriots Depth Chart With Michael Buchanan going to IR, and the release of Joe Vellano (PS candidate) and Kenbrell Thompkins (claimed by Oakland) to make room for Brandan Browner and Brian Tyms, here’s where we’re at with the roster now. Quite a few injury questions (optimistically leaving Revis and McCourty off) and the depth […]
