Week 9 Injury Check-In – 11/07 – Game Projections

November 7, 2020 by Tom Shaw-Mellors

Monday night’s game is upon us, let’s take a look at the final injury report of the week that include the official game status projections.

CB J.C. Jackson (Knee)
TE Dalton Keene (Knee)
G Shaq Mason (Calf)
DE John Simon (Elbow)
G Joe Thuney (Ankle)
DE Deatrich Wise (Knee, Hand)

Boy, I thought last week the Patriots were banged up, but it was nothing compared to this week. Let’s start with the news that N’Keal Harry and J.J. Taylor are confirmed to be out for Monday night’s game.

16 other players are questionable to play, including starters Stephon Gilmore, Shaq Mason, Joe Thuney, Nick Folk, Lawrence Guy, Deatrich Wise, and more. Here’s hoping everyone can rest up and be good to go, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a few miss out, especially the likes of Guy and Wise, both of who are suffering from multiple ailments.

New York Jets

OUT
LB Blake Cashman (Hamstrings)
TE Trevon Wesco (Ankle)
DOUBTFUL
QB Sam Darnold (Right Shoulder)
K Sam Ficken (Right Groin)
WR Vyncint Smith (Groin)
DL Quinnen Williams (Hamstring)
QUESTIONABLE
OL Josh Andrews (Shoulder)
WR Jamison Crowder (Groin)
DL John Franklin-Myers (Knee)
OL Connor McGovern (Knee)
DL Nathan Shepherd (Back)

Joe Flacco is the Jets’ top backup and now in line to start vs. Patriots. https://t.co/s2qsR1WrT5

The Jets look set to rely on the services of veteran QB Joe Flacco on Monday night as Sam Darnold is doubtful to play with a shoulder injury. Also doubtful is their 3rd pick from this year’s draft Quinnen Williams, who would be a huge loss for the Jets defense which is probably their best unit.

Jamison Crowder joins four others who are questionable, but he is expected to play come game time.

Bruschi’s Breakdown — New England Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts – ESPN Boston

Bruschi’s Breakdown — New England Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts – ESPN Boston Always love hearing Tedy’s perspective and he’s an honorary captain this weekend. What a great player he was against the Colts in those 2003 and 2004 playoff games, with him ripping the ball out of Dominic Rhodes hands being one of the defining […]
