If the Patriots bounce-back this Sunday with a win against Buffalo, they’ll have to do it without their go to receiver Julian Edelman.
Now, it’s been no secret Jules has been dealing with something this season, and not his normal fighting through injuries thing either, he’s been really hurt. News that he was absent from practice surfaced earlier before Jeff Howe reported that he’s expected to miss game action due the knee injury which has been ailing him all season.
Rapsheet then advised that Edelman underwent surgery on the injured knee which explained his absence from practice today.
It’s worrying, I imagine the team may place him on IR depending on how serious the surgery was, and given his age, his future with the team may now be in doubt.
